Fees Structure

Swap fee

  • 0.02% swap fee

  • Lowest swap fee on Polygon network

  • The swap fees go to Governance stakers (BlueICE)

Liquidity withdrawal fee

  • 0.05% liquidity withdrawal fee (exit fee)

  • The fee is linearly reduced to 0% over a period of 4 weeks

  • If a user has made several deposits, each subsequent deposit has its own 4-week withdrawal fee timer. In other words, the "new" withdrawal fee is only applied for the "new" deposit amount and does not affect the withdrawal fee timer for the previously deposited amounts. Please see example below.

  • Withdrawing (a portion or all) liquidity does not reset the timer.

  • The liquidity withdrawal fees automatically go to current IronSwap liquidity providers

Example:

  • User A has deposited $100k to IronSwap

  • If after 1 week user A decides to withdraw $100k liquidity, then user A will need to pay $100k * (0.05% * 0.75) = $37.5 fee

  • If after 2 weeks user A decides to withdraw $100k liquidity, then user A will need to pay $100k * (0.05% * 0.50) = $25 fee

  • If after 3 weeks user A decides to deposit another $20k to IronSwap. This $20k deposit has a new 4-week withdrawal fee timer which does not affect the $100k deposit timer. In other words, the withdrawal fee on the original deposit of $100k does not reset back to 4 weeks because the user has made a subsequent deposit.

  • After 4 weeks (or later), there is no withdrawal fee on the $100k liquidity for user A anymore. But, the withdrawal fee on the $20k deposit is still active for another 3 weeks.

Summary: Depositing more liquidity resets the timer back to 4 weeks only for the "new" deposit.
